Sunflower Industrial Completes Investment in Desco Floor Systems

Sunflower Industrial today announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Desco Floor Systems (“Desco” or the “Company”), one of the nation’s leading commercial and industrial resinous polymer system and polished concrete installers, headquartered northeast of Indianapolis in Fortville, Indiana. Sunflower Industrial, based in Kansas City, is also the parent company of Epoxy Coating Specialists ("ECS"), a resinous polymer system and polished concrete installer located in Kansas City, Kansas.

As part of the transaction, Desco leaders Lee Reasor and Mark Verry will continue leading Desco and will partner with ECS in Kansas City to support Sunflower Industrial’s national offering. “We believe in the long-term vision and growth focus of the Sunflower Industrial team,” said Desco owner Lee Reasor. “I wanted a partner that was committed to the continued growth of the business and investing in our employees which we have found in Sunflower Industrial.
